Fall Semester 

  • September 1 - Chapter Grant Applications Open
  • Applications Are Ongoing until October 15 and are reviewed as they are received

Spring Semester 

  • January 15 - Chapter Grant Applications Open
  • Applications Are Ongoing until March 15 and are reviewed as they are received
  • Reviews may take up to 5 working days, so plan accordingly. 

Plan Your Chapter Project - Get Funding from KON!

This funding anticipates micro chapter projects with relatively small budgets. A limited amount of funding is available and when it is expended for the year, a notice will appear here that no more applications can be funded. 

The project should focus on as many elements of scholarship, leadership and research as possible. Please submit the following in enough detail so that the project can be evaluated, but at most five (3) pages in Arial font, no smaller than 11 pt. Please provide in one PDF document.

Section 1- Information about the Chapter

  • Name the Chapter, the program(s) of study on which the Chapter is focused.
  • Name and email address of the corresponding project manager. 
  • Name and email address of the advisor. 
  • Explain the academic term in which you will use the funds.
  • Name the Chapter leaders and members who have volunteered to be a part of the project.

Section 2 – The Project

  • Name the project or program and briefly describe it. 
  • What is the target audience or group?
  • List three or more outcomes you hope to achieve. 
  • How will you know if you have accomplished your goal?

Section 3 – The Budget

  • Provide a clear, but simple budget.
  • If funded, provide the where the check should be sent, and provide the address for the advisor. (Checks will be made out to the Chapter).
  • Agree to provide a program and budget expense summary within 30 days after completion of the project to [email protected].

Section 4 – Permission

  • Obtain permission and endorsement of the project from the Chapter Advisor in the form of a letter and attach it as the fourth page of the submission.
