KON Required Program / Guidelines for Program Development

As part of KON’s effort to develop empowered leaders, each chapter is required to plan, develop, conduct, and report upon a Required Service Leadership Program (also called the “Required Program”). The purpose of this program is to make an impact on an issue of importance, to demonstrate the value of honor societies, and to fulfill the KON mission by helping chapter members demonstrate leadership initiative in their communities.
KON Chapters are encouraged to use KON National Office themes to guide program planning. National program options may be used as designed or modified to fit the needs of the group.
