Member Spotlight - April 2015
Md. Imranul Islam
Md. Imranul Islam is a 2nd year doctoral student at Kansas State University, majoring in Apparel and Textiles. Imran has been a member of Kappa Omicron Nu (KON) since 2014 and is currently awarded the 2015-2016 Omicron Nu Research Fellowship. Being native Bangladeshi, KON is the first honor society with which he has been involved. He has had industry, research, and teaching experiences both in Bangladesh and the US.Imran's doctoral research is focusing on environmental sustainability in the apparel production process. After completing his degree, he looks forward to becoming a learning facilitator, through integrating excellence within scholarship, research, and leadership.
