Member Spotlight - February 2012
Ron Mullis, Ph.D. earned his B.S. from Sacramento State University, his M.S. from Utah State University, and his Ph.D. from Iowa State University where he was inducted into Kappa Omicron Nu. He has been a teacher/researcher at California State University-Chico, North Dakota State University, and, most recently Florida State Unversity. He is currently Professor Emeritus in the Department of Family and Child Sciences at FSU.
Ron is best known for his research in the areas of adolescent and young adult identity formation and parent-child relations. He has published more than 70 research publications and plans to continue to assist his doctoral students in their publication efforts. He and Dr. Mercedes Nalls are grateful to Kappa Omicron Nu for supporting their innovative research into the impact of siblings on young adult identity formation.
